Itay Guy, President
Born and Raised in Israel, after completing service in the IDF, at the age of 22, I moved to Central Florida to acquire my higher education in The University of Central Florida where I graduated with honors. For approximately 15years I have been involved in the Central Florida Real estate market as an investor, contractor, property manager and real estate agent, however, my construction background goes back to Israel where before enlisting in service, I operated heavy machinery constructing commercial retention ponds and large intersections. Today, our construction company, Makeur LLC, renovates and remodels approximately 400 residential properties every year, and we build approximately 35-40 units per year, spec houses and townhouses ranging in value from high $400’s to over $1mm in value.
In the past I successfully purchased and sold hundreds of single-family homes and small apartment complexes taking them from value add to turn key, managing them and selling. Some have been Lake-front multi-family on Lake Fairview in Orlando, Titusville, and others. Those properties I was involved with were both for myself and multiple private and institutional investors, some of which my construction company still service to this day.
Gustavo “Gus” Lopez, Director of Operations/Partner
Gus has over 22 years of experience in the Construction Industry. An 82nd Airborne Division veteran, joined his father’s construction company in 2000 back in his hometown, Puerto Rico, where he worked in commercial projects and later specialized in correctional facilities renovations. After he earned his degree in Construction Management from the Polytechnic University of PR, he started his own business. He started renovating retail spaces for Walmart and doing rehabilitation in recreational areas for San Juan’s government. He also joined the SBA Damage Verification Center (DVC) Disaster Team as Construction Analyst during Hurricane Sandy in NY.
In 2014 he decided to move to Orlando, Florida with his family, where he started working as a Construction Coordinator in Exclusive Collection Fine Homes, now known as Makeur Construction. Gus has evolved from Construction Coordinator to Quality Control and Market Manager and now is the Director of Operation, and a partner.
